INC000002709323 / #00652730 - Users are experiencing that a patient appointment which has been ‘Arrived’ will enter the Traffic Manager section of the application, but if they are not moved from the Waiting Room into a ‘Room’ before midnight, the patient will not carry over into the ‘Waiting Room’ for the next day.

Users are experiencing that a patient appointment which has been ‘Arrived’ will enter the Traffic Manager section of the application, but if they are not moved from the Waiting Room into a ‘Room’ before midnight, the patient will not carry over into the ‘Waiting Room’ for the next day.

 

This is of particular concern for our users which work evenings (e.g. Community Paramedics) and rely on the Traffic Manager function to place clients into rooms accordingly. The issue then becomes that multiple appointments are being created for the same patient; one on the day the patient actually arrived, and one on the following day when they were moved into a room so that they will appear in the Waiting room again for Traffic Manager.

    If you go to Accuro Menu > Scheduler > Manage Rooms, there is an option when editing an individual Traffic Manager room to "Show patients for all arrived dates." This should be repeated for each room that you do not want to clear.
