Since updating to 2017.94.8, there is a new prompt that states:

Waiting Room

Patient is already in the Traffic Manager today Would you like to add them to the waiting room (Yes or No).

This prompt is not intuitive or useful, and we are struggling to understand the value add or when this would be useful information.

Since our users do not want to add anyone to a "waiting room" but to the traffic manager instead, users are clicking "no" not realizing this will stop the user from joining traffic manager and this is causing our patients to get lost in the workflow process.


This is a request to either get rid of the pop up, or so a system feature to turn it off.

At this point, this is effecting patient care there are concerns of patient safety due to patients getting lost in the system.

QHR has identified this is working as intended functionality. QHR case 01742010.


Workflow to replicate:

Arrive patient in one office, any provider.

Arrive the same patient again in any other office, any provider.

You will get the prompt outlined above.
