Right now, in order to be able to lock a chart, your user account has to be tied to a provider. It would be preferable if the ability to lock charts was based on the feature permissions of your role, instead of whether you are a provider. Just because you are a provider, does not mean you should have access to lock a chart (ex. RN), and we also have some non-clinical administrative staff whom we would like to be able to lock charts (specifically our clinic is large enough that we have an Access & Privacy Coordinator).
