Users are concerned that the character limit in the Notes section of the History of Problems band is too small as well as the lack of visibility to these notes on the Encounter Notes tab in the Band
Many Providers use this field to document many details about a diagnosis including Specialists, treatments, results, etc. Currently a user can type many characters (not sure the exact limit) but not all of what they type is visible in the Encounter Notes tab under the Band.
Providers have asked for the character limit to be increased to 2000 characters (if it is not already) as well as the ability to see all notes in the Band in the Encounter Notes tab. These notes should also print on any letters that the provider sends out in which he/she includes this diagnosis.
