Enhancement requested for the EMR to allow the sorting of lab interface results by Facility ID for all submitted requisitions.

 

This enhancement would include the ability to restrict the security of the provider’s lab folder to the respective office that matches the facility ID in the Shared Instances (enterprise) EMR’s. The default setting would be for providers to have shared lab folders across offices. This would allow providers who would like to view all labs for all sites in a single folder to reduce the amount of toggling as is current functionality.

The new proposed provider setting would allow providers to have site specific lab folders for each of their associated offices. By making it a provider configuration it gives the ability to application administrators to match the facility ID to the appropriate provider ID.

    Per a April 2019 phone conversation with Chris Spinov and Carly Rigg, there is no identification of facility ID or office ID in the lab's HL7, so no way for Accuro to currently route to a specific office when the lab comes in.
